My Grandpa Bud

Story! This weekend I was able to spend time with my family in Tucson, AZ to celebrate my Grandfather's 90th Birthday.  It really wasn't a surprise that he has made it this far in life. Up until just about 4 years ago he was running and riding his bike with his German Shepherd every morning around his neighborhood. He still keeps healthy, swimming in his pool and he thinks he is getting run down since he can no longer do 'as many' hours of yardwork each day! He is a go getter!!!

  1. My grandmother was the same exact way. She showed no signs of stopping at the 90 year mark. I think there is alot to be said about the differences between our grandparents generation and our own. Work ethic and drive is something that I know she exeplified for me, and I'm sure from your post, your grandfather for you as well.

  2. I want to be like your grandfather! It would be so awesome to live that long, you could see so much in your life and also know so much about life. Your grandfather is a real inspiration!

  3. Your grandpa sounds like a really cool man. I hope i'm still as active as he was when I get to be that age (assuming I get there). I think your grandpa is a good example of how leading a healthy active lifestyle can increase a persons life expectancy. He is a reminder that exercise is a very important part of life. I've need to stop being so lazy and get my butt back to the gym! lol
